Thunder Pluck Hawks
It was a battle for first place and the game reflected the mood as the Thunder and Hawks battled it out on Tuesday night. The Thunder prevailed and now sit on top of the standings following their 1-0 victory. As the score indicates it was a close game but the Thunder had a distinct territorial advantage as they were able to hem the Hawks in their own end for much of the game. The goaltending tandem of Johnny and Adam came up big when they were counted on and Ben netted the only goal of the contest.
