Thunder Make Noise in Hampton
Some coaches say losing can become a habit and just as quickly winning can become a habit. The Thunder are working toward that winning habit as they posted their first win of the season, a 5-3 triumph over the Huskies.
In the usual Thunder way the team got out to an early lead paced by first period goals by Geoffrey and Chad. The Huskies were able to tie the score before the Thunder built several two goal leads. Jacob and Ethan helped put the game out of sight with second and third period goals.
There were more big hits by the Thunder as the "human bowling ball" and the "pinball" put some Huskies on their butts. The game featured some solid goaltending by Adam and the defense held the fort to secure the first win.
The Thunder look forward to back to back games this week
